Heat Treatments – Bed Bugs

Summit Pest Control are happy to offer a heat treatment service for the control of bed bugs.

Over the years it’s been proven that bed bugs have built up a resistance to certain insecticides. So while the pest control industry develops, it is crucial to move with innovation and use more effective and greener methods of control.

Our team will attend your premises with a full PAT tested heat treatment kit which will be used in the confirmed bed bug infested rooms.

Each room will be set up, prepared and the heated and maintained up to 60 degrees for up to 6 hours (54.4 degrees is the magic number!).

This style heat treatment for bed bugs will dehydrate live bed bugs and their eggs meaning a more effective and confident method of control used.

There are certain items that cannot be heated: Aerosols, vinyl records, large electrical items, musical instruments, wax items (candles), oil paintings and oils/scented burners.

Heat treatments with Summit Pest Control start at £550.00+VAT per room. (Each additional room is £250.00+VAT per room).
